Las Aguilas is only 5 minutes and about U$ 2 dollars by car from the airport and downtown Ushuaia, in the woodsy Andino neighborhood. It is close to the ice skating Laguna del Diablo and is adjoining the home of the owners.
Ushuaia’s Islas Malvinas airport is reached in low season by 4 daily flights from two Buenos Aires airports (Ezeiza and Aeroparque) and up to 10 daily flights in high season.
Certain flights stop over in other Patagonian destinations, such as the whale-watching and penguin colony of Puerto Madryn, in the Province of Chubut (http://www.enpeninsulavaldes.com/home.shtml
) and the glacier, horseback trekking and estancias zone of El Calafate, Province of Santa Cruz (http://www.losglaciares.com/en/index.html
), making it ideal for a complete Patagonian adventure.
